Varsityheading 3

2019-20 Team Pictureheading 3

Congratulations to our Varsity & JV Basketball teams for their double-header sweep of Wellington-Napolean on the road on Tuesday night.

Our Varsity battled back from a halftime deficit to gain a 47-42 victory over the Tigers. Attecus Eskew led a balanced scoring attack with 13 points. Isaac Willoughby added 12 points and Carter Hocraffer finished with 10 points.

After being tied at the half, our JV used an 18-1 3rd quarter run to pull away from the Tigers in route to a 38-24 win. Max Stephan led the way for the Cardinals with 9 points.

With these victories, both teams are now 2-0 on the season and will travel to Higginsville on Thursday (12/1/22) to take on the Huskers. This will be a triple-header night, as our C-Team opens the night at 5:00 PM, followed by our JV at 6:15 PM and our Varsity at 7:30 PM. Good luck to all 3 teams!
